This how to change the automatically created file name for the attached document of a letter.
  • Select the letter from the dropdown and choose Edit Template.
  • Or, go to Control Panel > Letter Management > Click on the arrow next to the desired letter group > Find the letter and click on the Edit button (Pencil icon).
  • Under the Attachment Name section click on the arrow to expand the section.
  • You can type text and add fields from the Insert Field dropdown.
  • Adding fields will create dynamic file names based on the letter you create and the fields you choose.
  • When finished editing click Save.
