The synchronisation of transactions from your bank depends on the open banking rules set by each individual bank.
- Real-time: Some banks have APIs that provide transaction data in real-time, meaning the data is almost immediately available after a transaction is made.
- Near-real-time: Other banks might have a slight delay, updating transaction data every few minutes.
- Batch Processing: Some banks might update transaction data in batches, such as every hour or once a day.
Therefore, when you click on Sync transactions from the left hand side, this is completly dependant on your bank. If your bank allows synchronization constantly, transactions will appear. If your bank only connects every morning, you will need to wait until the next day to sync transactions, even though there are actually transactions in your bank already.
